Our community has asked the Blacksburg Town Council to sign on to the Cool Cities initiative, which is a flexible plan for cities and towns to sign on to the Kyoto accords to curb greenhouse gases. The town council will be meeting in November to decide the issue and we need as many signatures as possible to urge the council to do the right thing. To sign the petition, go to this link:
